Indigo Montessori operates for 10 months annually, from late August through early June. We are closed for roughly ten weeks over summer. We are closed for the major holidays, including two weeks over winter break in late December/early January. All programs run from 9:30am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Finances and Tuition

Application Fee:  A non-refundable fee of $100.00 is due with a student application to Indigo Montessori School (IMS).  An application is considered complete when the application fee and completed application are received. Not required at re-enrollment of current students.

Acceptance Fee:  A non-refundable one-time program fee of $1000 is due at the time a Tuition Agreement is signed and submitted; receipt of a signed Tuition Agreement and the Acceptance Fee are both required to enroll a child at IMS. This fee is reserved for the program development and long-term growth of Indigo Montessori School. This is not a deposit used towards the annual tuition.  Not required at re-enrollment of current students.

Tuition:  Rates vary depending on the program (see below).  Tuition is payable in 1, 2, or 10 installments, August 1 through May 1.  Tuition is only payable through automatic draft of bank account or credit/debit card.

Once a Tuition Agreement is signed, tuition will be due whether or not a child attends IMS, unless the school is able to replace the student. Parents will be refunded for any unused days that are replaced. (See our Parent Handbook for details regarding IMS Replacement Policy.)

Replacement Fee:  A Replacement Fee, equal to one month’s tuition, is due when a parent requests replacement of a Tuition Agreement by another student.  Replacement will not be undertaken until the Replacement Fee is received with a written request for replacement. Please refer to the Family Handbook for the complete details on our Replacement procedures.

Late Payment Fee:  A Late Payment Fee of $50 will be charged after the grace period ends on the 5th of every month. All accounts in arrears greater than sixty days will be referred to the school’s attorney for collection. Expenses associated with the collection will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian.

Late Pickup Fee:  Students who are picked up (signed out) late will be assessed a late pickup fee:  $1.00 per minute after the 5-minute grace period. 

Returned Check Fee:  If IMS receives a bank notice of insufficient funds for tuition payment, the parents’ account will be billed a fee of $30.00 per returned check

Infant Transition Program 9:30 – 1:30: $18,550.00/year Ages: 0 -- 1yr

Pre-Three Program 9:30 – 1:30: $17,250.00/year Ages: 1 – 3 yrs

Primary Program 9:30 – 1:30: $17,250.00/year Ages: 3 – 6 yrs

Spring Start: January 6th, 2025 - June 13th, 2025

Infant Transition Program 9:30 – 1:30: $10,700.00/semester

Pre-Three Program 9:30 – 1:30: $9,950.00/semester

Primary Program 9:30 – 1:30: $9,950.00/semester
